RACHEL HILL

Academy Director & Lead Trainer

Rachel’s journey in HR and as a recruitment improvement advisor and facilitator began over 25 years ago, working in corporate positions in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, running large in-house HR and recruitment functions.  She  has worked across the globe, and across many different industries,  including Banking and Finance, Power and Energy, IT and Data, and government and NFP recruitment.

She is now a recruitment solutions expert, media commentator and popular keynote speaker plus corporate trainer on Recruitment Skills, TA process improvement and the latest in HR tech.

 

A founder of The Recruitment Skills Academy with Andrea Kirby. She is also Managing Director and Principal Consultant at Hill Consulting HRS Australia. And writes most of our training programs.

 

Delivering RPO services and responsible for TA process improvement and efficiencies, cost reduction, HR tech and automation and Recruitment solution design and best practice implementation. 

 

She now advises corporate Australia on how to transform their recruitment and HR functions in the 21st century by reviewing their current process efficiencies, looking at their people, process, place and possibilities.

 

Rachel Hill was asked to MC the Employee Experience conference in Sydney in 2019 where she was chair of the two-day national conference on leading edge HR practices in Australia.

In 2020, 2021 and 2022 she has been asked to be a National Judge on a panel of three for ITA’s Awards (Internal Talent Awards) for the recruitment industry looking at innovation and tech. She is also founder and Director of HRtechmarket.com, a global website with over 2,700 HR tech products listed, and undertakes weekly product reviews with vendors.

 

When not training or Consulting on TA, Rachel can be found being a taxi service for her teenage daughters or running on the local beach with her dogs.

TAMARA DI VEROLI

Recruiter Trainer

Tamara is a recruitment and talent leader with over 16 years experience in talent acquisition, talent management, process and systems improvement, leadership and redeployment management. Tamara has worked across numerous industries including infrastructure, construction, services, engineering, telecommunications, information technology, early learning and education, many of which have been in large and complex businesses.

Tamara is a people leader and has managed both small and large national TA teams with a strong focus on mentoring. Tamara loves to share and loves to train others in the art of TA. Tamara is passionate about training and  teaching others how to think creatively and embrace new ways of learning, with the ability to adapt to all learning methods.

She really understands how to get the best out of people. Tamara’s experience spans all aspects of Talent Acquisition includes strategic sourcing, branding/EVP, ATS implementations, process design and development, bulk and graduate recruitment, rapid mobilisation projects, workforce planning, executive search & selection, talent mapping, succession planning, internal mobility, and redeployment. Tamara has successfully implemented a number of ATS’s / HR & TA systems and is passionate about process improvement.  Tamara is passionate about giving back to the TA community and is an active member of several industry collaborations and networking groups as well as volunteering for Jobs for Humanity (Australia).

When she is not working on Recruitment campaigns or delivering training, Tamara can be found with her 5-year-old son Oscar and hubby enjoying the outdoors, Italian food and travelling.

ALLISON BELL

TA Strategy Trainer

Alison is a senior Talent professional with experience providing consulting offerings spanning the full range of implementation needs that support clients recruiting strategy planning, process re-engineering, process integration, account configuration, integration activation, assessment development, branding, change management and training.

 

She leads our TA Leadership and Strategy practice in the Recruitment Skills Academy.

 

Alison has an amazing ability to translate commercial business strategy and subtle people management approaches to ensure bottom line results for major global corporations.

 

She is also an expert on facilitating TA change, career profiling, operational job search methodologies, assessment and career profiling programs.

 

She has a high level communication skills ensuring rapport and influencing capabilities are applied to executive, middle management and administrative level delivery models. Cultural sensitivity demonstrating breadth and depth within a consulting coaching environment.

 

Her Specialties include:

When not running major Recruitment redesign programs or building global Recruitment strategies, Allison can be found renovating her house, gardening or catching up with the kids.

Deb Zurnamer

Senior Legal Recruitment Trainer

Deb Zurnamer has extensive experience in the legal professional and Recruitment marketplace. 


She has worked as a lawyer, managed her own successful legal recruitment business, and has held senior Resourcing and HR Management positions in respected Sydney law firms. 

 

Throughout her career she has been involved in talent attraction, recruitment and interviewing and has honed these skills over many years working in HR.  She has a unique understanding of law firm practice as well as the legal recruitment market and has seen first-hand the positive impact of professional and best practice interviewing skills on the candidate experience.  She is passionate about imparting these skills and experience to current and future legal leaders to positively impact the attraction and selection of excellent talent for their firms.

 

Deborah now partners with The Recruitment Skills Academy as our lead trainer and designer for Legal practice in delivering leading edge recruitment practices for lawyers. Developed for Leaders and emerging leaders in the legal profession.
